We had a farewell dinner at Carino‘s, where Meg is a server. Their friend Ailyn waited on us.
Her sister and most of her friends started college last week, and one of her best friends left for the Air Force. Ailyn insisted that "normal" people graduate from high school and then go to college right away in September. But she of the eternally adventurous and "big idea" was determined to do otherwise. So today she left to spend three months with her high school friend, Eve, who happens to live in Sydney.
So cool, calm Mom here took my camera to the airport and turned it on only to find that I’d left the CF card at home in the card reader. Bah! Crummy cell phone photos will have to do. I only took a few.
